I'm not a very political person... but as I was re-reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, the Guide's explanation of the "President of the Galaxy" - kind of got me feeling a little freaked out. And then the story went on to tell of Zaphod Beeblebrox's desire to steal the Heart of Gold ship... I put it aside to read a vampire story. I like my blood-suckers to sparkle a little.
